I am pleased to present to you musical instrument Gubarev drum freezbee. This model I developed specifically for travel – because I receved several requests for a small and lightweight instrument with a sound like a large GUBAREV drum Standart model. I reduced the size and tried to keep the maximum of the sound as in large instruments. As a result It has clean soft wooden sound, it’s easy to take it with you to nature, in a car or plane. Freezbee is lightweight and compact. The instrument consists from two hemispheres made from 1,5 mm steel. Eight oval-shaped tongues are located at the upper hemisphere. The lower hemisphere has no holes and serves as the amplifier of the resonance.
This model can be made in the classic version with an engraved pattern on a brown background (brown color is an oxide film after heat treatment of the instrument), it can have an etched pattern – thanks to the my own author technique of etching stainless steel, as well as engraving on a powder coating of different colors: white, black, azure and others.
